Lee’s love of music comes from his dad and growing up listening to country music.  His first time on stage was at a Christmas party, singing ‘Your Cheating Heart” with a live band:  He was hooked!!!

 Lee sang with his first band, Spreadeagle, a tribute band, for approximately eight months.  He then helped to form The Next Five, which played many local venues for approximately four years. Lee states, “I learned a lot with TNF.”

In 2006, fellow vocalist Deb Nelson and Lee began talking about forming a band, and so it began.  From Lee, “Now I am with Drive South, a great group of musicians and friends, and am looking forward to whatever opens for us.”
